To get streaks off windows and other glass surfaces, squeeze about two tablespoons of lemon juice into an empty spray bottle. Add about a tablespoon of white vinegar and a cup of hot (but not boiling) water. Shake the mixture well and apply to whatever needs cleaning.

If there's a funky smell coming from your kitchen sink, try throwing a few lemon wedges or peels into the disposal and chase them with some cold water. For particularly potent odors, add some baking soda to the mix.

Has a set-in stain ruined your linens? Treat them with a mixture of lemon juice and salt and let sit for 30 minutes.

Rinse with warm water and vinegar and then let it dry in the sun. Repeat as needed. (This technique is also good for sweat stains on shirts.)

If your white sheets have gotten dingy, you can also use lemons to restore their brightness.

Fill a large pot with water and add some lemon slices, then bring it to a boil. After you turn off the heat, add in the sheets and let it soak for a good hour. Then launder your linens as you normally would.

Even if they're not dirty, chrome fixtures can lose their luster due to hard water stains, limescale and soap scum.

To bring back their brightness, cut a lemon in half and run it over the faucet, handles, drain and any other metal surfaces.

When you're done, rinse and dry thoroughly.

Coat half a lemon with coarse salt, then rub it over tarnished pots, cabinet pulls and other metal items. (Make sure they're not varnished, though.)

When you're done, wipe it down with a damp cloth, followed by a pat down with a soft, dry cloth.

A great quick trick for those messy walls! Especially families with children!

Mix 3 or 4 drops of dish detergent in a half filled bucket of water, grab a rag and go to work! If you rather take the ''old school'' route, take 3-4 tablespoons of white distilled vinegar to a gallon of water and wipe away!

Have you ever had or have mildew stains in the grout lines of your shower area. They are tough to get out, better grab a grout brush, possibly some bleach and get to scrubbing. A product that I have found to work extremely well and does what it says on the bottle is X-14. You can spray the mildew stains, let the chemical go to work for about 2-5 minutes and then wipe away the grime. Fairly inexpensive product, but cannot be found in your local stores. Mostly found online such as Amazon.

Basic Cleaning vs. Deep Cleaning

Many Clients often ask, what's the difference between a Basic cleaning and a Deep Cleaning. Here is the answer:

It is highly recommended that you start with our Deep Cleaning so you get optimal results. If your ceiling fans, light fixtures, door and window trim has not been dusted on a regular basis, our basic cleaning will probably not give you the results you want.

The Deep (or Spring Clean) starts you off fresh and the basic cleanings can be thought of as “maintenance” to your home. To sum up the difference between the two cleans: we hand wipe all items listed in the Deep Clean and feather dust most items in the Basic Clean. However, we never feather dust countertops, dining tables, coffee tables, appliances, etc.

Every "Basic Cleaning" includes the following:

Ceiling fans & light fixtures dusted
Cobwebs removed
Blinds, window sills dusted
Molding & woodwork dusted
Baseboards dusted
Lamps & lampshades dusted
Beds made/sheets changed
Stairs vacuumed
Floors (vacuumed &/or mopped)
Outside of appliances, including top of refrigerator
Counter tops & backsplashes
Beds made/sheets changed
All sinks, mirrors, tub/showers, toilets cleaned
Stovetop & drip pans
Wastebaskets (emptied & relined)
Furniture dusted and polished

Our Deep Cleaning addresses heavy dirt and dust build-up and includes all of the "Basic Cleaning" plus:
